Making the most of my current high level of fitness, I am off today for a week’s surfing in Newquay, on the coast of Cornwall. Much like the Marathon, I have wanted to try surfing for years, so myself and the wife are leaving the kids to have a 6 day surfing course at one of the best places to surf in the UK.
I just hope the weather holds!

Very interesting blog – if now sadly closed – as I am in training myself to run the marathon. 9 min miles so good – do they have pacers for 7 and 8 too?
my questions though is for the adidas half marathon – how did you get there? if you travel from london are their coaches laid on from stations or what? if you can let me know, ideally by going to my blog and emailing me via my email – middle, right hand side, that would be amazing! well done on finishing, makes me look forward to it again, despite the sinking reality of 42km, having just done 10km thus far!
